IDFA’s FORUM is Europe’s first-class meeting place for filmmakers, independent documentary producers, television commissioning editors and other financiers, offering an effective combination of public pitches and individual meetings. Independent producers pitch their projects in two different public pitch setups: the traditional Central Pitches and the more intimate Round Table Pitches. Both setups are combined with prearranged individual meetings with the potential financiers, thus optimizing the effect of the pitch. It is a unique opportunity to find financing for documentary film. More than 90% of all submitted projects end up getting made. The FORUM accepts projects in all stages of financing.
Come and meet your fellow documentary filmmakers in Amsterdam!
19th edition of the FORUM: November 21-23, 2011
Deadline for submission of projects: September 1
Deadline for accreditation to attend the FORUM: October 10
