Fleeing to Macau to escape loan sharks, Fai is a former mixed-martial arts champion (Nick Cheung) who becomes embroiled in the lives of a psychologically troubled single mother and sassy ten-year-old daughter (Crystal Lee). At the gym, Fai meets Lin Siqi (Eddie Peng), a young wannabe fighter who wants to enter an MMA championship to prove himself to his father (Jack Kao). Cheung and Lee won the Best Actor and Best Actress awards at the 2013 Shanghai International Film festival. Unbeatable has been nominated for 6 Golden Horse Awards.
