Reel Asian co-presents "The Great North Korean Picture Show" at Hot Docs 2013

North America’s largest documentary film festival is almost here! The 20th edition of Hot Docs Canadian International Documentary Festival will take place from April 25-May 5 featuring 205 amazing documentaries from 43 countries.

Reel Asian is proud to co-present The Great North Korean Picture Show at Hot Docs this year. SYNOPSIS: “Filmmakers James Leong and Lynn Lee offer audiences a glimpse into North Korea’s only film school through two young actors and a director who were hand-chosen by the regime to become stars. Searing critique, objective observation or just fantastic fun, this is an irresistible glimpse behind barbed wire”.
