The 8 fest is celebrating their 2016 festival by spotlighting the super 8 films by Toronto-based artist Keith Lock. Keith Lock is a rarity among filmmakers with a distinguished career in experimental as well as dramatic films. He is also director of the first feature film by an Asian Canadian. He worked as Claude Jutra’s assistant, was Michael Snow’s cinematographer on several projects, and he was a founding member and the first Chair of the Toronto Filmmaker’s Coop, Canada’s first film co-op, which later morphed into LIFT. Biography
