Reel Asian kicks off Asian Heritage Month 2010 with an evening co-presentation of Disorder (現在是過去的未來), by Chinese filmmaker Huang Weikai (黃偉凱), at the Cumberland Cinemas in Yorkville. The film will be preceded by Swedish director Jonas Odell's Tussilago as part of the International Spectrum programme at this year's Hot Docs Canadian International Documentary Festival. The programme will screen again on May 4 at Innis Town Hall.
Now entering its 17th year, Hot Docs has established itself as one of the world's leading organizations devoted to the art & business of documentary practice. In addition to putting on their annual festival, Hot Docs has several initiatives including the Toronto Documentary Forum, a world-class market, an international congress and solid year-round programming.

Individual tickets to Hot Docs screenings are $12, with late-night screenings (after 11:00 PM) only $5. Advance tickets and a variety of passes are available from the documentary Box Office on the lower level of Hazelton Lanes (55 Avenue Rd, just north of Bloor).
