Eric Birnberg, LL.B. is a partner with the Toronto media and entertainment law firm, Lewis Birnberg Hanet, LLP, and a founding partner with the Toronto-based, full-service business affairs company, Behind the Scenes Services. He spent eight years with Alliance Atlantis, lastly as Sr. VP, Business & Legal Affairs for the Television Group, and prior to that as the General Counsel to the entire AAC organization. Eric is a member of several working committees of the Canadian Media Production Association, and is a board member for a variety of CMPA-founded copyright collectives, including the Canadian Retransmission Collective. Eric also serves in senior producing roles on film and television projects, and is always eager to discover another great one!

Thomas Walden is a seasoned financial professional who has exec produced award winning film and television, worked with and for many of Canada's largest entertainment companies including Cineplex Odeon, Atlantis, then Alliance Atlantis, Corus, Concert Productions International, and on the other side of the coin - Revenue Canada as a Tax Auditor. He has worked on hundreds of film and television projects, helped collect over $200 million in tax credits, has significant experience in cash management, budgets, forecasts, interim financing, IT and financial reporting systems, corporate restructurings, tax planning, and to give back regularly teaches film finance courses and seminars.
