We are bringing the Sense of Wonder Asian Canadian Shorts Program to a city near you! This selection of shorts include many of the award winners from 2009, such as Rex vs. Singh (Dir. John Greyson, Ali Kazimi, Richard Fung), Fish in Barrel (Dir. Randall Okita) and Found (Dir. Paramita Nath). Selected filmmakers will be in attendance at various cities.

May 18 • Executive Screening with the Ministry of the Attorney General of Ontario
Mio Adilman's Unlocked (RA 2009) and Naoko Kumagai's The Contest (RA 2008) will be screening at the Ministry of the Attorney General of Ontario as part of the Ministry's Asian Heritage Month events. Kumagai will be joined by Unlocked lead actor Bobby Del Rio for the Q & A.
May 18 • Mio Adilman Artist Talk & Workshop with Toronto Students
The Toronto Catholic District School Board and the Toronto District School Board are holding their annual Asian Cultural Celebration Day on May 13th, 2010. As part of the curriculum, Reel Asian has invited Mio Adilman (Unlocked, RA 2009), to screen his work and hold a filmmaking workshop for the students focused around writing personal experiences into narratives.

May 26 • Asian canadian film panel at harbord collegiate
Reel Asian artistic director Heather Keung will be joined by filmmakers Mio Adilman, Howie Shia and Naoko Kumagai for a film screening and panel discussion at Harbord Collegiate Institute. Students will get to hear about the world of filmmaking and how these filmmakers' Asian cultural backgrounds have impacted their work.
