How your Membership Helps

Reel Asian is Canada's largest Asian film festival.  Your support allows Reel Asian to continue to present high-quality programming that reflects the diversity of the Asian community in Canada.  Ticket purchases cover only 10% of expenses required to put on the annual festival and year-round screenings.    Your contribution helps nurture the growing appreciation for Asian cinema in Canada, and plays a key role in sustaining and growing Reel Asian's programming and operations.

For example...

$50 provides one day's worth of snacks for our hard-working festival volunteers
$300 provides accommodation for a visiting filmmaker to attend the festival for 3 nights
$500 covers the costs of shipping a film to the festival from Asia
$1500 covers an international flight for a filmmaker from Hong Kong, Seoul, Tokyo, or Beijing

Canada Helps is a not-for-profit charity portal that provides an online giving service to registered charities. When you make a donation to the Toronto Reel Asian International Film Festival via CanadaHelps, the festival receives 97% of the donation.
