Call for Volunteers – Next Stage Theatre Festival (Toronto Fringe)

The Next Stage Theatre Festival is currently seeking Front of House volunteers to work during our festival in January.

Next Stage, going up January 4-15, 2012, is produced by the Toronto Fringe Festival and gives Fringe Artists opportunities to develop their work and careers to the next level. With only 10 productions, it is a much smaller festival than the Fringe and takes place at the Factory Theatre (125 Bathurst Street). You can read about this year’s shows at http://www.fringetoronto.com/nstf/nstf_shows.html .

The Next Stage Festival, like our Fringe Festival in the summer, would not be possible without our volunteers. We have a much smaller base of volunteers for Next Stage and those volunteers have more responsibility than those at our summer festival. As thanks, we offer a stamp for each shift worked, which allows a volunteer free entry into a Next Stage show of their choice. Between being an usher and using the pass, volunteers will end up seeing most of the shows in the festival!

In order to be considered for a volunteer position at Next Stage, please fill out an application form by Thursday, December 15th. You can find our application form at http://www.fringetoronto.com/volunteer/vol_signup.html . If accepted, our volunteer coordinator, Sarah Miller-Garvin, will be in touch with you later that week with more information.

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact Sarah at volunteer@fringetoronto.com
