Planet in Focus is currently seeking a Programming Intern. DEADLINE: May 13, 2011.This unpaid internship is an excellent opportunity for candidates interested in film programming to gain valuable experience in the field. The Programming Intern is primarily responsible for submission processing and prescreening all film submissions.

The Programming Intern will demonstrate:
– Keen interest in environmental programming
– Strong oral and written communication skills
– Excellent time management skills and keen attention to detail
– Knowledge of environmental and media arts
– Experience working with Microsoft Office applications on Mac computers
preferably and FileMaker Pro
– Experience working in a non-profit setting is an assetWorking with the Director of Programming and Programming Coordinator, the
Programming Intern will:
– Enter film and video submissions into the database
– Follow-up with filmmakers who have failed to submit required information
or payment
– Prescreen all submissions and fill out film evaluation forms
– Label and prepare all suitable submissions for the Director of Programming
and Programmer
