New Media Lab & Member Services Coordinator
Full Time; 30 hrs/wk

ARTSPACE is Peterborough’s artist-run centre, a non-profit organization committed to the support and development of contemporary art and artists.

ARTSPACE is currently developing a New Media Lab. This new facility, housed within ARTSPACE’s physically-accessible Toolbox and Project Rooms, will offer members on-site access to video and audio editing software, audio,
video, and static image recording equipment. The New Media Lab & Member Services Coordinator will be responsible for a variety of tasks related to the operation of ARTSPACE’S New Media Lab including: visioning, promotion, equipment rentals, lab bookings, member orientation, statistical and member database management, workshop development, volunteer recruitment and training, and gathering and developing how-to resources pertaining to available equipment and software.

The Coordinator will also be involved in grant writing and programming as related to New Media Projects. New Media Lab duties will take up approximately two thirds of the Coordinator’s time, at an estimated 20 hours
per week. The remainder of this position will be spent coordinating ARTSPACE’s membership, and volunteer coordination.

The Regent Park Film Festival is looking for proposals from filmmakers and animators to create a trailer for the 10th Annual Regent Park Film Festival.

About the Trailer:
The trailer will be used to promote the annual festival, and played before all films at the festival. It will be dynamic in content, conveying the essence of the festival, artfully and with personality. The trailer must be 30 sec in length. You will be compensated for completing the trailer.

Timeline: The trailer must be completed by September 7, 2012
