The Toronto Youth Shorts Film Festival (TYSFF) has TWO ways for emerging artists in the GTA to showcase their work. First is by submitting to their general submission call. They’re accepting films under 20 minutes by 18-28 year old filmmakers in the GTA. Second is by participating in the T24 Project, a 24 hour film challenge unlike no other. Don’t have a camcorder? Don’t need one! Just whip out a digital camera or iPhone and make a movie that can be screened as part of the festival in June. Watch films made by your fellow young filmmakers, receive live feedback from an industry jury and potentially win prizes with your cinematic masterpiece. What more can you ask for?
