Reel Asian is proud to co-present at You Can’t Go Home Again: The Films of Luo Li with TIFF Cinematheque. With four feature films over the past six years, Luo Li has quietly established himself as one of the most important innovative filmmakers in both Canada and China. As strong supporters of our local artists and filmmaking community, Reel Asian is proud to have screened Luo Li’s early works at our festival, including Ornithology in 2005. We’ll be co-presenting two films in this retrospective series including I Went To The Zoo Today, which takes place right at the Toronto Zoo, and Emperor Visits The Hell – Luo’s own adaptation of the Chinese classic story, Journey To The West.
