Soulpepper Theatre’s smash hit play Kim’s Convenience returns to Toronto for their 2013 national tour. When the critically-acclaimed play by Korean-Canadian playwright/actor Ins Choi first debuted, there was huge hype and buzz surrounding it. Kim’s Convenience had an incredibly successful run at the 2011 Toronto Fringe Festival, picking up the Patrons Pick award, winning the New Play competition and was invited to be in the Best of the Fringe Uptown Festival.
Since the award-winning play appeared at Fringe, Kim’s Convenience has sold out all of its performances. Luckily, select cities throughout Canada now have another chance to see this performance on stage! Kim’s Convenience returns to Toronto from May 23 – June 19.
