Fourth grader, Junha, struggles making friends… His classmates avoid him, his teachers discipline him, or are simply confused… They just don’t understand why he behaves the way that he does. Concerned parents of Junha’s peers question whether he should be educated in the same environment as their kids. While the school advocates for Autism awareness and encourages children to support Junha, many lose their patience. Including Junha. Director Hyung-sook Hong’s Junha’s Planet is a documentary part of Workman Arts’ Rendezvous with Madness Festival. Catch the Canadian premiere at 6 PM on Friday, October 18th at Jackman Hall AGO.
