Tickets for live events – panels, artist talks, our Scarborough Live Script Read – are sold right up until the start time of the event.

In order to guarantee that the last purchasable ticket has a 48-hour watch window, we are stopping ticket sales at 11:59 PM on Tuesday, November 17. You will receive an email confirmation from Elevent, as well as a Virtual Access email an hour before the film becomes available. Since almost all of our films become available at 10:00 AM on November 12, if you have bought tickets to several different films, you will receive multiple Virtual Access notices at 9:00 AM on November 12.
Films will be available starting 10:00 AM on Thursday, November 12. If you buy tickets after this, you can click the link to be taken immediately to our Cinesend portal where you will be able to watch the film.
The exception is the Opening Night film, Down A Dark Stairwell. This film will be available only from 7:00 PM on Thursday, November 12 until 6:59 PM on Friday, November 13.
In general, you have 48hrs to complete your film watching after you click the link; however if you click the link within the last 48hrs of festival film availability (i.e. after 11:59 PM on Tuesday, November 17, 2020), you will have less than 48hrs to start watching the film.
The opening night film is only available for a 24hr period, from 7:00 PM on Thursday, November 12, 2020 to 6:59 PM on Friday, November 13, 2020. We recommend clicking to watch the film as soon as it becomes available so you can participate more meaningfully in the live Q&A happening at 8:45 PM on November 12.
As long as you start watching the film while it’s still available, you won’t be cut off even if your watch time goes past 11:59 PM on November 19, 2020. HOWEVER, if you pause the film after it becomes unavailable, you will NOT be able to restart.
The opening night film will become unavailable after 6:59 PM on Friday, November 13, 2020; all other films become unavailable after 11:59 PM on Thursday, November 19, 2020.
