Can you explain some of the technical terms?

Bequests, also known as ‘gifts by will’ or ‘testamentary gifts’, are revocable gifts made to a charitable beneficiary through your Will. They can be as simple as including a notation in your Will, or complex with conditions about how you would like your gift to be used – such as designating them to a specific project or fund.

What are the tax benefits?

In addition to the lasting social impact your gift will make, a bequest is also an effective way to reduce taxes on your estate after death.
