Reel Asian’s Oscars™ Watch Party!

On Sun, March 15, 2026, Reel Asian will host an Oscars watch-along! Come for a fun, casual get-together to celebrate the Asian representation among this year’s nominees.

Notable nominees include:

• K-POP DEMON HUNTERS nominated for Best Animated Feature and Best Original Song (for Golden)
• HAMNET received eight nominations, including Best Director for Chloé Zhao and Best Adapted Screenplay for Chloé Zhao & Maggie O’Farrell
• Miyako Bellizzi is nominated for her work on MARTY SUPREME for Costume Design
• Song Il-Lee’s KOKUHO is nominated for Best Makeup & Hairstyling for the work of the hair and makeup team, Toyokawa Kyoko, Hibino Naomi and Nishimatsu Tadashi
• Makeup artist Kazu Hiro nominated for his work in THE SMASHING MACHINE for Best Makeup & Hairstyling
• Charmaine Chan nominated for Best Visual Effects in JURASSIC WORLD: REBIRTH
• Jafar Panahi’s thriller IT WAS JUST AN ACCIDENT nominated for Best International Feature and Best Original Screenplay

Doors open at 6PM, with mixing and mingling before the broadcast starts at 7PM. Snap a photo on our very own red carpet and backdrop, enjoy free popcorn, or take part in what we have to offer that evening!

For the first time, we will be hosting an Oscars Bingo! Mark off your card throughout the evening for a chance to win a prize bundle valued at $220+, which includes a Supporter-level Reel Asian membership, a signed and framed K-POP DEMON HUNTERS poster, and more. Bingo sheets are $10 and available for purchase at the event (each sheet includes one raffle ticket).

Alternatively, try your luck in our raffle, with two prize winners, each valued at $60. Prizes include a Friend-level Reel Asian membership and other goodies. Raffle tickets are $3 each or $10 for five.

Food will be available for purchase throughout the night. All proceeds support Reel Asian’s year-round initiatives, and prize winners will be announced at 9:30PM.

This is a relaxed event, so feel free to get up and move around during the broadcast. Join us as we cheer on this year’s nominees!
