Turning 10 this year, Wee Asian cultivates a place for all ages and generations to experience the festival together. Come and join our free drop-in programming, featuring relaxed film screenings, storytelling, arts and crafts, and time for play or rest!

Remixing Wee Asian with archival short films, this edition reframes what might be discovered in the programme through craft, narratives, and sensory experiences.

For: anyone with a pen in hand, oddballs, narrators, those following a train of thought

Anniversary Screening: FILM CLUB

11-year-old Cyrus Sundar Singh joined an after-school film club whose members all happened to be the children of immigrants. While learning to love film, they also grappled with their identities — were they Chinese, Indian, or Italian? Were they Canadian? Together, they made a short film that explored these ideas and more.
