Expanded Dis/Closures probes what constitutes truth and reality, and on whose terms? Taking reality as a continuum that is always in the making, the works featured in this program explore themes of reiteration, revisiting, and return in media formats including 360 cinema and docufiction, VR theatre, and interactive and multiplayer XR. They invite you on a journey across family archives and memories, historical events, what-if scenarios, and abstract realms to unsettle the conscious and provoke the subconscious. May it be done as a faint murmur into a void or shouted out loud, we encourage you to take the act of speaking one’s truth into reality as closure and disclosure, and (re)claim the narrative courage for realizing our worlds and stories anew.
