How to Virtual Festival Guide

Thank you so much for becoming a Reel Asian Member!

1. On your membership purchase confirmation page you would have seen your membership benefits listed on the right hand side. You can start using your items right away or you can do so through your confirmation email.

2. You can use your Elevent login under ‘Member login’ at watch.reelasian.com to access the virtual programming at the festival at any time during the festival dates.

3. For Supporters, Partners and Champions: You can redeem your complimentary tickets on any in-theatre presentation when you are logged into your Elevent account.

4. To redeem your 20% discount and/or complimentary tickets to films, we recommend using Elevent:

• To use your 20% discount, at tickets to your cart. On the Checkout page, your 20% discount should automatically apply to your total.
• To use your complimentary tickets, click ‘Account’ at the top righthand corner of your screen. This will bring you to your account profile page. Click ‘Fulfill Package’ in the top righthand corner of your Accounts Page. Now you can browse films and add tickets to your cart.

5. Most importantly, you will see your Pay it Forward Package under extras in your Elevent account. The shareable 20% discount code will be found in your confirmation email. For Partners and Champions, shareable tickets and passes are digital codes meant to be distributed among your friends and family to virtually experience the festival with you.

Share the unique codes using the ‘How to pay it forward‘ instructions below for friends & family to redeem their tickets themselves.

1. To return to your Pay it Forward package, click YOUR EXTRAS on your account page.

2. Each “extra” has a unique code, which you can export into an excel sheet for easy sharing. Simply scroll down and click EXPORT.

Each code has a one-time use to be applied to the associated Package or Pass. You can send multiple codes to one guest or send one code per guest. It is up to you how you wish to distribute tickets.

3. When sending the code, make sure to include the link for *Member Journey: How do guests redeem a code* so they’re all set to enjoy the festival with you!

1. Start by registering for an Elevent account. You won’t be able to checkout without one!

2. If you received a single or multiple 14-digit codes, browse films here and add your ticket(s) to your cart. On the Checkout page, type the 14-digit code in the field Extra Code.

If you received an Insiders VOD Access Pass codes, add to your cart under PASSES.

If you received the 20% Members Pay it Forward code, browse films here and select the film(s) you wish to watch. Add your ticket(s) to your cart.

3. Continue to checkout where you can either use a DISCOUNT CODE or an EXTRA CODE.

4. If you received a short code, enter the code under DISCOUNTS and click apply. If you received a 14-digit code, enter the code under EXTRAS and click apply.

5. Upon completing your purchase for an in-theatre screening, you will receive a confirmation email with your ticket.

Upon completing your purchase for a digital screening, you will receive a confirmation email with a screening link. When you’re ready to watch, click that link and you will be directed right to your film to start watching!

If you are redeeming an Insiders VOD Access Pass, you will be able to access the festival at watch.reelasian.com by using your Elevent login under Member login. Enjoy!

1. Create an Elevent login using the same email address your invitation was sent to. This is where you access your shareable codes and the log-in you will need to watch the festival online.

2. Once you are logged in, on the right hand corner, drag your mouse over your name. You will see a drop down menu. Click ACCOUNT.

3. On the left hand side you will see a list of items. Click YOUR EXTRAS.

4. Your extras will display with the amount of Passes and Tickets outlined in the sponsorship agreement. Click VIEW CODES on the right hand side of your company/organization name.

5. To share your codes, please go to How to share your benefits.

6. To use your own Festival VOD Pass (All-Access Pass) for your own viewing, you can go directly to watch.reelasian.com beginning November 9 to access all festival programming by logging in with your Elevent login under ‘Member login’.

Please note that ticket sales for digital screenings will end at 11:59 PM on Friday November 18, 2022. This is to ensure that the last purchasable ticket has a 48-hour watch window. You can still watch films until 11:59 PM on Sunday November 20, and just sales of tickets for digital screenings will stop. Ticket sales for our LIVE events are unaffected and tickets to these events will remain available up until the start of the event.
