Win is a struggling gig worker whose mom is sick — and the hospital bills are about to force them out of their home. By chance, an old schoolmate gives Win the opportunity to make a quick buck by fighting in an underground MMA venue. But to his surprise, his high school sweetheart Praewa works there as a hostess. Together, Win and Praewa come to terms with the harsh reality that their bodies are their only way out of debt.

And this isn't just any fight night. Combatants are inked with tattoo nanobots (a.k.a. “god skin”) that give them unreal power-ups according to the betting audience’s whims. As Win bruises his way through the ranks, will he and Praewa get a storybook ending?

God Skin features the hallmarks of the best maximalist action movies: bone-crunching action (from the team behind 2003's Ong-Bak: Muay Thai Warrior); fantastical, video-game-like set pieces; and pointed social critique about control and greed, with winking nods to the tropes of the genre all along the way. Noice!
